It starts out as a romantic comedy, but then turns into an intricate thriller. One way or another, it is a delightfully entertaining film. Of course, it always helps to have Brigitte Bardot on hand: it’s impossible to look away even when she’s dialling a phone number, never mind when she’s dancing the mambo. We’re certain the film would have worked just as well with any other lead actress, but it’s preferably not to even imagine it. The plot has the grace of a feather floating in the breeze, and it’s a pleasure to be tickled by it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Virginia gets married to Andrea the dentist. He falls into a trap set by Anita, the owner of a dance school, who then starts to blackmail him. The woman is found dead and Andrea is the prime suspect.
