{"id":15854,"date":"2023-02-13T17:04:45","date_gmt":"2023-02-13T16:04:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/titanus.it\/progetto\/%project-category%\/tempo-di-violenza\/"},"modified":"2023-02-13T17:06:47","modified_gmt":"2023-02-13T16:06:47","slug":"tempo-di-violenza","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/titanus.it\/en\/progetto\/cinema\/tempo-di-violenza\/","title":{"rendered":"TEMPO DI VIOLENZA &#8211; THE HEIST"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The introspection of French cinema meets the frenzy of Italian cinema in a crime story fuelled by constant tension<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two leading figures of French showbiz, Robert Hossein and Charles Aznavour, meet in an exciting story of cops, robbers and friendship<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maybe it&#8217;s a conditioned reflex that goes with co-productions, but <em>Tempo di violenza<\/em> features the typically pensive and introspective feel of the French <em>polar<\/em> genre, along with the frantic cuts, car chases along city streets and bloody shoot-outs of the Italian <em>poliziottesco<\/em> genre. The resulting film is fuelled with tension and primed to explode. The two main characters are a police officer and a criminal who were once school friends, but now find themselves on opposite sides of the law. The criminal has a recurring dream of being lynched by a mob. Two big contemporary stars play the leads: Robert Hossein (a star of many crime films) as a French Dillinger, and Charles Aznavour (famous for his music and his films) as the policeman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robert robs banks, kills people, and is obsessed with American gangster John Dillinger. Kramer is the cop intent on stopping him. The two went to school together and were once great friends.
