Science fiction meets fairytale in a film inspired by Star Wars<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A film that has developed a cult following, with a great cast and wonderful special effects<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Italian cinema has always been able to observe trends and draw inspiration from films that have made history. This film uses the idea of the first Star Wars<\/em> as a springboard for a new intergalactic adventure. L\u2019umanoide<\/em> is an obvious homage to George Lucas’s blockbuster, and despite the limited budget it manages to produce nice costumes, sets and special effects with models and lasers. This is not a remake, however. Aldo Lado uses the sci-fi genre to tell a fairytale, with the main objective of entertaining through adventure, simplicity and beauty. There is a wonderful cast, straight out of the films of James Bond: Richard Kiel (\u201cJaws\u201d from Moonraker<\/em>) and a couple of Bond girls. Ennio Morricone provides the music. Back here on Earth, L\u2019umanoide<\/em> has developed its own cult following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
