Fantozzi strikes again at the box office, with a fresh mix of classic comedy scenarios
Believe it or not, Fantozzi is being put through the ringer once more. What else could we expect? If he wasn’t, it would be the end of the character, and the end of the fun. But what’s more, Fantozzi strikes again, as the box-office success enjoyed by the hapless accountant goes from strength to strength. And if his own troubles weren’t enough, this time daughter Mariangela has troubles of her own. Now all grown up, but still no beauty queen, she has been seduced by an unpleasant playboy from Bologna called Loris Batacchi. And let’s not forget the motley crew of characters that once again surround Fantozzi: Pina, Filini, Calboni and Miss Silvani. Here they get caught up in an ill-fated trip to the seaside, and fall under the spell of a hairy and imposing guru named Franchino, who appears to have come straight out of the past .
The suffering of lowly accountant Ugo Fantozzi continues, featuring resident meetings, attempts to seduce his daughter, unrequited love, an athletics championships and political elections.
