A film goes full throttle, with motorcycle races worthy of Rollerball
Spoiler alert: the final race is not to be missed, a gladiatorial battle that has far more in common with Rollerball than the Olympic spirit of de Coubertin, with motorcycles and riders flying in all directions. In addition to being a stunt-filled, adrenaline rush of a film that mixes sport with warfare, Speed Cross also finds a way to justify a plot that revolves around some crazy guys on motorcycles, a story of friendship, a light dose of romance, and a significantly larger dose of detective film. Then, hard on the gas, and go like there’s no tomorrow.
Two biker friends are in Austria for an important race. In addition to racing at full throttle, they will also compete for the love of a girl and contend with some criminals who are fixing races.
