Detective Nico Giraldi never disappoints, not even in Miami
Spectacular chases scenes and take-no-prisoner jokes from the “dirtiest” cop around
The fifth and final chapter of the “…anti-something” series starring Tomas Milian as Detective Nico Giraldi (or vice versa). But it is not the end for the best well-loved and “dirtiest” cop of Italian cinema: after this film, a new series will get underway (the “Delitto…” films). As in his previous outing, Squadra antimafia, Giraldi has to go on a mission across the ocean, this time to Miami, presenting us with the chance to witness one of the most spectacular scenes of his honourable career, on a motorboat in the Florida Everglades teeming with alligators. Once again the formula works a treat, with a highly entertaining detective story and some great comedy throughout.
This time, Detective Nico Giraldi is an undercover Interpol agent, called upon to expose a criminal organisation in Miami. He teams up with a female colleague, who has to pose as a nightclub singer. Nico defeats the bad guys and ends up in bed with his attractive colleague.
